Companion Warranties

Superior Truss & Panel, Inc., the fabricator & erector, MiTek Industries, Inc., the manufacturer of Ultra-Span™ light gauge steel truss system, together with Loadmaster Systems, Inc., now offer true performance companion warranties.

Coverage includes:

• Gravity load performance of the roof trusses and roof deck assembly.
• Shear load performance of the roof trusses and roof deck assembly.
• Suitability of the truss system & deck system for roofing membrane.
• Warranty terms for a minimum of 5 years and coverage is not pro-rated.

Loadmaster's Companion Warranty is a true performance warranty for roof decking that offers 100% repair coverage for any defect covering wind resistance, gravity load performance, diaphragm load performance and suitability of the deck  to support the roof covering for the first 12 years.  Manufacturing defects are covered for the balance of the warranty period, which may be up to 40 years.  Factory Inspectors will inspect all jobs. 

With the Loadmaster Duraflex Mineral Board as the nailable substrate, venting of shingles is not required.  Companion Warranties are available for non-venting insulated roofs.  Shingle venting issues and the complex details required for shingle venting are eliminated. 

Exclusions:

Most shingle warranties do not cover workmanship or water-rightness, and exclude damage caused by roof deck movements, failures of the roof structure or inadequate shingle ventilation.

With the IntegraTeam Systems Warranty, exclusions become:

•     Subsequent structural changes or alterations to the roof.
•     Settlement or movement in the walls, supporting structure or foundation.
•     Lack of normal common sense maintenance.
•     Acts of God, war, insurrection or riot.
